When journalism no longer maintains neutrality they forget WHAT BELONGS ON PAGE ONE. Love, honor and courage should be manifested in defending the weak and helpless.

EVIDENCE WOULD NOT MAKE IT RIGHT nevertheless, there certainly seems to be faulty research used to support homosexual marriage.
WHEN YOU GO AGAINST THE ESTABLISHMENT mockery, scoffing, and shunning sure to follow. The tenacity with which the scientific method is adhered to is fanaticism. Ostracize anyone for, "suggesting consciousness is not an accidental by-product of evolution, but was somehow written into the universe from the beginning."

PURSUIT OF WISDOM AND JOB 28 - This morning I came to Job 28 in my devotional reading. This chapter is a fascinating chapter on wisdom and provides a critique on modernity’s search for knowledge. I say knowledge, because I am not so sure wisdom is a concept that is truly appreciated in our society.
This comes out in the words of Job as well. With colorful language Job artfully describes the miner who searches the farthest recesses for ore in the blackest darkness (v3). This is a place where no animals dare to go, yet man in his quest for riches spares no effort. “He searches the sources of the rivers and brings hidden things to light.” (v11). The insatiable quest for riches will lead a man anywhere.
“Yet,” Job asks, “where can wisdom be found?” After this painting of a determined man in search for treasure, Job wonders, is our quest for wisdom as passionate. Sadly, wisdom is not something that we truly comprehend. It is unquantifiable and intangible. We cannot, it seems, use our five sense to wrap delve its secrets, to apply our scientific methodology to it.
Wisdom cannot be found through the hard work of mining. It cannot be found by panning the rivers. It cannot be bought with gold, onyx, sapphires, or crystals, coral, jasper, or topaz for it is far more valuable than any of these. It is hidden from the eyes of the living.
God alone understands the way to it, and so, in the face of modernity one can only find wisdom through the fear of the Lord – that is wisdom. In shunning evil we have understanding. Young man and woman, spend less time in your quest for riches and more time searching for wisdom. Wisdom is true riches. A person full of wisdom is worth more than all the treasures on earth.

"AT BEST, UNIVERSAL PRE-K IS A BABYSITTING SERVICE. Middle-class parents can’t afford good child care, which Obama says in his speech, and he says that preschool is a childcare solution more than an education solution."

WHERE DID SIGHT COME FROM? The biology, even in its simplest form, just happened to keep building towards the unimaginable? It would seem as if it had to know somehow, to know that there was in fact an external world that could be viewed.
KNOWING THE HOPE OF HIS CALLING  (Ephesians 1:15-23)

At times it can be difficult to see the beauty of faith, to know why we are called to faith in Jesus Christ, and to persevere in that faith. It can be difficult, because there are so many naysayers. Nay-sayers attacking the roots of faith, trying to show the pointlessness of faith, faith is committing intellectual suicide, faith guarantees a life of failure to be ‘good enough’…

Paul prays for the Ephesians that they may receive “the Spirit of wisdom and revelation” in order to come to know God better. Paul knows that the more the saints come to know God, the more they will understand the glory of the Father, the glory of Jesus Christ, and the wonderful grace offered through faith in Jesus Christ. As saints come to know God, the more their response to God is based on fact rather than doubts.

Paul also prays that the ‘eyes of the heart’ may be enlightened. This unique phrase points to an awareness that goes deeper than ‘mind debate’, but is filled out with ‘heart assurance’.

And what are we to see?
First of all the hope to which we have been called. Here we have a specific answer for naysayers – there is a glorious inheritance that we are living for. It is promised in God’s word; the line of history is moving toward the final day. If there is no Jesus Christ, then we may as well join the naysayers, because there is little to be excited about in this world. However, knowing that Jesus Christ has come and was raised, it changes the outlook of life completely.

But not only that, when the ‘eyes of the heart’ are enlightened, they can see the great power for those who believe. The grand vision has been laid out AND the power to carry it out has been established. The very same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead is at work in the saints, raising them from death to true life. This is not failure, but rather glory. God, through this prayer, will enable the saints to see the power that guarantees new life as surely as the Son of God was raised to life.

The response to naysaying, from outside or from within our own mind, is to pray for the Spirit of wisdom and understanding so that we may know God better. Then we would know that the naysaying is ridiculous, because we know the truth about God. When we are enlightened, we see the real hope that is ours, and we recognize the power that guarantees that hope. This is something to be thankful for. Jesus Christ is reigning because of that power.

MARRIAGE AND CULTURE: When God established marriage he established it for our good. "To be clear, our religious beliefs do offer legitimate reasons to oppose same-sex marriage. But if we’re to win this important debate and win hearts and minds, we must be able to articulate our convictions in culturally relevant ways."
CHURCH ATTENDANCE: Are we aware of why we are in the church we attend? Are we aware of our expectations of the church we attend? "...the main reason people leave a church is because they have an entitlement mentality rather than a servant mentality."
